We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tadeusz Gauer. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tadeusz below.
Hi Tadeusz, thanks for joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
My dream has always been to move to the United States and work with people from the music, film, fashion, and business industries in Hollywood — individuals who are recognizable, respected, and serve as an inspiration to others worldwide. At the same time, being surrounded by the best trainers in the world, learning, exchanging experiences, and discovering new training methods, all while constantly striving to improve myself
In Europe (Poland), I created the Gauer Fitness brand, opened my own gym, organized Personal Trainer Development Programs and ran a fitness platform.
I had the honor of training with some of the most well-known and respected individuals, and my achievements didn’t go unnoticed by the media — I was featured in newspapers and major online portals, frequently invited to television, and participated in numerous commercials. I became one of the top trainers in my country and ran my own business, which I had been developing for years.
However, one day I made the decision to close everything I had worked so hard for in Poland and move to the United States. I had to start over — with no guarantees, no recognition, and no certainty about what the future would hold. But I believed in my experience, my knowledge, and, above all, my work ethic. Work ethic is my superpower,
Although the competition in the U.S. was enormous, I realized that, despite appearances, there were not many trainers who were willing to work as hard, dedicate themselves completely, and commit so intensely and consistently to their work as I do. And that’s when I realized there was, after all, a place for me in the American fitness market
Tadeusz, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Now I live in Los Angeles and train at one of the most famous gyms in the world, The Dogpound Gym, where stars like Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, and Justin Bieber train. I have had the honor of training personalities such as Anna Wintour, Jasmine Tookes, Brad Peyton, Mert Alas, Lukas Gage, and Jesse Metcalfe, among others
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I don’t have luck in life; everything I’ve achieved is the result of hard work, consistent planning, and relentless perseverance. When I started, I mapped out my entire path on a large whiteboard—a ten-year plan that I followed day by day, hour by hour. I was very detailed, and as situations changed, I adjusted the details to make sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Before going to bed each night, I always reviewed the day, analyzing what I had achieved and what could be improved. And I still do that today.
I became not just my own employee, but also a strict, ruthless owner of my own corporation—called “The Vision of My Life.” While creating these strategies, I discovered something important. I realized that, in reality, everything is possible. However, we often assume that something is “impossible,” when in fact, what’s behind that is uncertainty, fear, and the overwhelming amount of work that scares us. Our minds then tell us, “You can’t do it,” but that’s just a mental barrier.
I remember well when I started working on the first year of my ten-year plan. I looked at the whiteboard and thought, “This is impossible. I’d have to work 14 hours a day for the first 12 months of this plan, without a single day off.” But then I realized—wait a minute, is it really impossible, or do I just not want to work that much during the first year of this long-term plan? I laughed out loud and said to myself, “LET’S GET TO WORK!” And that’s how my journey began
Have you ever had to pivot?
I am a cellist and I graduated from Berklee College of Music, specializing in composing film, advertising, and TV music. I worked as a composer in Europe, collaborating with television networks, event organizers, various production companies, and theaters. I created music for movie trailers, commercials, audiobooks, and at the same time, I worked as a personal trainer. I wanted to balance both passions because I loved both sports and music.
At one point, I realized that I couldn’t continue doing both if I wanted to achieve my vision. I had to make a choice. I chose sports, but I also knew that when the right moment came, I would return with a new plan—this time, not for fitness, but for music
