We recently connected with Tabitha Obienu and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Tabitha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
That is a great question and one that I get asked quite often. All too often we can get entangled in the perception of success that we overlook the personal process of success. Success is relative. In fact, it is a personal journey set by personalized standards, experienced in a personal way. What may be considered successful for one individual may not be the same for the next individual. Success is a personal refining process that embodies several moving parts, requiring certain attributes and resources like time, discipline and commitment to name a few. I personally believe that success is whatever YOU as an individual deem as successful based on a multitude of factors such as your personal needs, desired outcomes, ambitions and purpose. Overall success means to have a posture of purpose and attitude of service to others. It is growing from the inside and making a positive impact on the outside.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
This is a great question. Keeping in touch with our clients is pivotal for us to do in order to retain them. We have learned that it is simpler to retain a client/customer than it is to acquire a new one. Nurturing them throughout their customer journey will ensure that they have a positive experience before and beyond the transaction. Keeping in touch with clients/customers requires clear, concise and consistent communication in a professionally relatable way. Understanding our client’s desired method of communication and ensuring that we are sending the right message, to the right person, at the right time is key. This builds trust and it fosters our brands loyalty to both its clients and its mission. Lack of communication and low touchpoints will lead to high turnover and reduced roi. Nurturing clients and embodying our brands missions, vision and values is how we foster brand loyalty.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
I absolutely love to read!! It is one of my favorite hobbies. Books are a great escape for me. I enjoy the experiences that I embark on, learn from and grow through when I am engrossed in the new world or words. I am selective on the books that I read because for one I do not like wasting my time and also it is important for me to be mindful of the information that I am consuming and the source in which the information is coming from. I do have a few favorite books which has truly left an impact on me. Balance by Pastor Touré Roberts is mind-blowing and spiritually provoking. It is a masterpiece. This experience evoked such an awakening to my understanding of and approach to balance. It has helped to reinforce and refine me both personal and professionally as it pertains to becoming balanced rather than seeking balance. Another one that has transformed my mindset and refined my understanding is The 10% Entrepreneur by Patrick McGinnis. I have read this re-read it and taken notes that I still refer to today from this book. The values, principles and strategies set forth in this experience are timeless. The small time investment that it cost to read the books will be worth its weight in wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
