We recently connected with Taariq m Ali and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Taariq m, thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
When I new that this was passion and was meant for me was when it helped me get through a really difficult time in my life. I was dealing with depression really bad and the only way to make it out was being creative and expressing myself.

Taariq m, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Taariq Ali. I’m a model & creative director from Chesapeake, VA (757) area. I haven’t been the game for long. I started back in 2021, which was so difficult because I didn’t know where to start. Having an uncle in the industry but not teach you anything and disown his family really took a toll on me. I had to figure all this out on my own. From knowing what kind of model I want to be to perfecting my ability to walk, pose, and be comfortable in my own skin. I’m an all around model, including; print, commercial, & runway. I had to book myself for all the casting calls I attend, manage my time properly when it came to shoots and shows, and knowing what was good for my brand. The biggest help to figure this all out was surrounding myself with the people that was doing the same thing as me. But what sets me apart is taking my concepts and and allowing them to come true being able to please people with my art and be humble at the same time. I’ve made a name for myself here in Virginia but it’s time for me to venture out.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I plan on becoming an international model, creative director, and stylist that is known for my amazing work and hopefully Inspire individuals to be great themselves especially for the people in low-income homes. I also want to find a way to combine fashion and Psychology to help better people mental health.
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Society view on what is a model and really be passionate about being Creative. What I experience a lot is having photographers or other creatives give me the dry end of trying to work but as soon as with clout or a pretty girl reach out to them they down to work. When it comes to me personally if I see someone that is talented and trying to take the game to the next level I’m making sure they get exactly that.
