T, appreciate you joining us today. Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?

My name is TCOZY . I’m a hand painted , clothing designer / fashion designer from North Plainfield Nj . Growing my artistry and business for the last 10 years . Currently have been working for myself since 2023 , when I quit my job to pursue a full time career as an artist .

There have been many years when I have been able to support myself just off of the strength & support of my clients . Up until the last 2 years or so when I have expanded my resources and talents where I have met resistance in maintaining regular clientele .

Even knowing what I know now , being where I am now . there’s a process to anything and everything . If you are going to be great at something it takes time .

I paint , sew make canvas” and so much more . With all the things I have to offer we have been used to designer and customizing clothes for all sorts of people it took the 10 years as a professional to get where I am today with customers all of the U.S. This business being built even still today will take even more time . There have been some fails but it only led us to where we are today with clients that do appreciate what we do ! They make the business its a word of mouth organization that I wouldn’t trade for anything .

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I’m a designer through the craft of painting sewing and recreating old works , by taking something old of yours & making it new (custom) or taking something new and making it amazing . who’s creative base & motto is “making ones trash another’s treasure”

We paint cartoons , of All sorts . We provide canvas’ , art , clothing ( men’s & women’s ) . Hand bags , pants , jeans , jackets , hoodies ,tables , suitcases & more ! all hand sewn & hand painted original limited editions (1of1)

We create PEICES only 1 piece can be seen of eveyrhing we have done. We appreciate our customers feeling like the only person with that peice feeling singular .

What sets us apart from others is that we truly do our own thing. We have been seen on stage performing our music then going back behind a table servicing as a vendor to those who need art and more !

The thing I’m most proud of is the love that our brand gives . We make people happy even when we disappoint, our character stands

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

A story that can best produce and feeling of resilience ; even when i haven’t made sales . I’m still creative . It’s been a journey of ups and downs but my father passed in 2020 and even throughout the painful journey towards healing , that was the year my business took a turn for the better . In all of the days before I got my first real custom from a friend who became of my best customers . I felt my most uncreative and turns out it was my best time for creating because since then I have been non stop creating . From nights with no sleep or even belief in myself to days to sales at pop up shops I created myself . I didn’t fall through sadness through loneliness and confusion . God carried me through and because of that I stand tall

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

This is my mission from God to be a creative .
My family , I wanted to be able to give my family now and my future family something and someone’s to believe in . I didn’t grow up creative . I was late bloomer I didn’t start my creative journey until I was 18 . I drew small doodles growing up but I never imagined I would be where I am today . I never followed artist growing up or really know any famous artist no matter what gender or race because it wasn’t an ambition of mine . Now I can say there are people who depend and believe in my creative journey has been able to inspire others with my creative steps it has been a blessing to not just my life but others around me
