Sydni, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
Indys Paradise is an all natural skin care line that focuses on reaching consumers in the beauty industry. The purpose of the business is to empower women and men to feel comfortable in their skin, and to encourage everyone by letting them know that God made them beautiful and unique. Our mission is to strive for sustainable growth and improvement, through the continual use of natural ingredients in our products. We desire to see our consumers become more confident in themselves and who they are naturally. We will achieve this by standing on our core value, which is the scripture, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” – Philippians 4:13.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Sydni Soularie and I am a 23 year old entrepreneur. Currently, I am completing my Senior year at The University of Houston, majoring in Retail and Consumer Science.
While having a conversation with a friend about her graphic design business, the idea of owning my own business became very appealing. It wasn’t until the pandemic hit, that God showed me what that business would be. I was going to start an all natural skin care brand and it would be named Indys Paradise. Because God gave me the vision for it, it would be a christian-based business!
Indys Paradise is an all natural, grass roots skincare company, that focuses on showcasing one’s inner natural beauty. I am passionate about my business because I believe that everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin…embracing who they are and loving the skin they’re in! While many companies claim to have “natural” products, consumers are often frustrated when they find out that most products are quite the contrary. Well, we are dedicated to the continual use of all natural ingredients in our products and being true to what we promise and provide.
I want all customers to know that they can do any thing through Christ and they don’t have to hide under makeup or feel uncomfortable with how they look. At Indys Paradise, we believe God made everyone perfect in his image…we simply want to be the catalyst in the building of their confidence to showcase that beauty.
Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?
In my very first sales venture, I participated in a pop-up event that my mother was invited to. She brought me along to showcase my products. I knew nothing about the client base or the area and was a bit anxious and unnerved about how everything would turn out. Creating an attractive presentation/product set-up, was the easy part, but articulating my sales pitch was a bit more challenging. I think I was just in my own head. I relaxed, shared my company’s vision, described the products and allowed customers to sample them. After the 1st few customers, I found a rhythm. Although things started out rather slowly, by the end of the pop-up event, I sold out of one of the products and almost sold out of 3 others. A day that started out being something to get my feet wet, turned out to be one of the best experiences ever. It was such a motivating factor and encouraged me so much. I had an opportunity to reach a client base that I had not initially targeted and through that experience, I have repeat customers.


Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
In today’s marketing world, the integrated marketing plan is the way to go. It includes social media marketing, content marketing (i.e videos, pictures, reels, etc) and email marketing. Each one is a part of a strong inbound marketing strategy, that is important when trying to attract buyers in this omnichannel age. Indys Paradise is up to date with the latest technical usage(s). Since we are an upcoming business, we have the standard updated technology that’s needed to help start and promote our business marketing strategy. Some of our main goals/objectives are to build our social media presence, make sure to always record our progress, stay interactive with our consumers, and to find ways to bring more foot traffic to our website.
