Alright, Sydni thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s jump back to the first dollar you earned as a creative? What can you share with us about how it happened?
After painting during the pandemic I decided to show my works for the first time in January of 2022. I sold my first painting ever here for $500 and for me it’s still one of my most validating and meaningful sales. I ended up catching COVID after the show but it was totally worth it :) gave me the power to believe in my art and my talent!

Many of my works are inspired by my Afro-Indigenous heritage. From my paintings to my hand made fedoras you’ll find patterns, colors, and more used by many of my tribes connecting them from different continents
Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
I don’t personally do NFTs but that’s mostly because of ignorance on my part as the how to do it.
That said I also don’t care to learn how to :D For me painting and creating are a form of self care and therapy that I don’t feel NFTs could give me.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I’d like to be a well known artist that is appreciated all over the world before I leave this earth. I’d like to see a level of success that my children already believe me to have while I’m still living :)
