We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sydnee Greenwell a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Sydnee thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Giving others the permission and support to follow their unique path has become my purpose. I find solace in documenting families not as they pose for the camera, but as they live their lives. Capturing their unfiltered laughter, quiet moments, and unguarded interactions has become a way to tell their stories authentically.
Throughout my life, I’ve grappled with a sense of being different, of not quite fitting in. It was a puzzle I struggled to solve until I discovered the magic of self-love and truly embodied the fact that we are all designed to be different. It’s so cool! I decided turned my “lens” inward, capturing the different versions of myself, embracing the quirks and imperfections that made me whole, learning to love it all.
Embracing self-love transformed my perspective of life and everyday moments. This is what has brought true peace in my life, peace amidst all the chaos and uncertainty. Combining my experience, photography and intuitive healing, I aim to guide others. I want to show them that embracing their uniqueness and all their complexities is the path to fulfillment. Through every photograph and conversation, I aim to mirror the beauty of authenticity.
So, I continue on this journey, capturing lives, stories, and souls. In a world where belonging sometimes feels distant, I strive to remind people that feeling whole and happy begins within oneself. With every shot I take, I aim to weave a narrative that celebrates the intricate tapestry of every individual and family, and to inspire others to love every part of who they are.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Sydnee, and I’m an intuitive healer and photographer with a passion for playing with light to create stunning images, while at the same time giving my clients a transformative experience that will expand their lives. My journey into photography began as a fun hobby, snapping photos of light and shadows wherever I could find them. I remember making my sister pose next to my moms rose bushes. Years and years went by until I was inspired by a friend to pick up my own camera. My very first shoot was for a friend and her family. As my enthusiasm grew, I decided to make it my profession and passion. Alongside this, I discovered my knack for intuitive healing, helping families find peace amidst the beautiful chaos of life through Akashic readings and Human Design.
I’m also a wife and mom, and let’s be honest, life can get a bit wild sometimes! I’ve navigated my fair share of anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and fear. My journey to healing involved a mix of mindfulness, different healing techniques, and, of course, photography. Embracing the chaos and finding peace within it took some vulnerability and effort, but I emerged on the other side with a sense of lightness and peace that I now strive to share with others. I’ve learned to follow my intuition, receiving inspiration and insights, releasing mom guilt and shame, and learning to love myself more each day.
I offer a unique blend of services that include intuitive family photography, healing sessions, Akashic readings, and Human Design consultations. My photography is all about capturing genuine emotions and the authentic beauty of each moment. I love working closely with my clients to design sessions that truly reflect who they are, whether we’re shooting in their home, one of their favorite spots, in nature, or indoors. My healing services aim to help individuals and families find balance, clarity, and peace in their lives. I always encourage my clients to remember self-love—it’s a theme that runs through both my photography and healing work.
My clients often tell me they appreciate my relaxed and comfortable approach. I give them the opportunity to slow down, embrace the chaos, and just enjoy the moment. My intuitive healing services provide guidance and support, helping clients navigate life’s ups and downs and find their inner peace. What sets me apart is my ability to blend these two disciplines, using my intuitive insights to create meaningful, healing experiences both in front of the camera and during healing sessions. Additionally, I help families feel more present and peaceful in their lives, and this sense of presence is beautifully captured in their photos.
I’m incredibly proud of the relationships I’ve built with my clients and the trust they place in me to capture their special moments and guide them through the embracing life. Seeing their joy and satisfaction when they receive their photos or experience breakthroughs in healing sessions is what keeps me motivated and passionate about my work.
I want everyone to know that my work is driven by a deep passion for storytelling and love. I am committed to delivering high-quality images and transformative healing experiences that you will cherish for a lifetime. My goal is to make each photo session and healing session a memorable and meaningful experience, helping you find beauty and peace in every moment.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Weddings were my niche at the very beginning. When I first started out I was so excited about using my gifts of creating a peaceful and chill atmosphere. This was back when the candid and documentary photography scene was emerging into the mainstream. I was so passionate about the authenticity of my clients, almost protective of it in a way. I knew that would be a main theme in my work and it definitely still is.
Initially, capturing the magic of weddings was thrilling and fulfilling, but after having my second baby, I felt a deeper calling. I noticed my mental state and the things that were important to me shifted. My personal life always translates over into my work and that is something I love and want to embrace. Pivoting to family photography allowed me to connect with families on a profound level, blending intuitive healing, Akashic readings, and Human Design insights into my sessions. As a wife and mom who has overcome the hold anxiety and depression had on me, I now help other moms find peace and answers where they feel confusion, release guilt, and embrace self-love. Creating a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, I guide them to appreciate life’s little moments. This transformation has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m excited to keep helping families find light and joy, one photo at a time.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist or creative is the profound impact my work can have on others, especially my clients or the families I’m co-creating with. It’s the ability to capture emotions, tell stories, and create beauty that resonates deeply with people. Seeing someone connect with my art, finding solace, inspiration, or joy in what I’ve created, brings an unparalleled sense of fulfillment. Additionally, the creative process itself is incredibly rewarding – the journey of transforming an idea into a tangible piece of art, the freedom to express yourself authentically, and the continuous growth and exploration that comes with it.
But perhaps the most beautiful realization is that everyone has creativity within them; we are all artists in our own unique ways. Whether it’s in the way we solve problems, cook meals, decorate our homes, or even how we connect with others, there’s creativity in everything we do. Every day, we’re creating art in some form, contributing to the tapestry of life with our individual expressions. Embracing this universal creativity makes the world richer and more vibrant, reminding us that we all have the power to touch hearts and inspire change through our everyday actions.
