We were lucky to catch up with Syann Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.
Syann, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
The biggest risk I’ve took. Was moving from Atlanta, Georgia to Las Vegas, Nevada with no family, no friends and starting over from scratch with two businesses.
I wanted to expand my net work to the West Coast, the Journey is still on going. it’s like a roller coaster. I have good days and bad days in between days.


Syann, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Chef Sy from east Atlanta! Chef and owner of Kravee Kitchenz. Chef and owner of Mise En Bud.
Kravee Kitchenz handles everything Food related from catering to meal prep, mobile delivery on DoorDash.
Mise En Bud is our cannabis brand and we handle cannabis meals for cancer patients. We also have infuse foods rolling trays, ashtrays and cannabis catering.


Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I’m a small business with no commercial kitchen, so I’ve been having to rent kitchens and do things from out of my apartment. Majority of my business I didn’t have a car so getting around most times was a hassle. However, my clients had no idea.


Have you ever had to pivot?
My transition to Las Vegas has been probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.
While I’m building my clientele, I have been also working so I can maintain. I recently got fired from two jobs.
While still trying to keep a roof over my head, build my clientele without extra money, coming in, has been the biggest pivot thus far.
