Swathi, appreciate you joining us today. Do you have any thoughts about how to create a more inclusive workplace?
We all know that every organization want to have 50% of women work force .But are they ready to customize their HR and workplace policies ?It would be great if they realize ,same policy wont be suitable enough for a fresher ,intern ,Mother ,parent of a child with disability,Transgender .It would be great if they create specific percentages on including all these in their hiring metrics.It would be really wonderful if they give some consideration to hire women who has gaps in career and if they can provide some flexible options for mothers who has special needs children .This earth would be a great place if every one embrace the differences and celebrate our existence rather than competing .

I am Swathi Nelabhatla ,I had only one ambition in my life and that was to be an Entrepreneur.Never a day went out without me thinking on atleast one startup idea .After many failures ,i figured out that i have a purpose in life and that is to support fellow women .Thereby along with like minded team ,we started SHEJOBS.SHEJOBS(www.she-jobs.com) is an exclusive job portal for women and Under Represented Minorities.Women can upload their resumes in our portal by logging in to www.she-jobs.com and organizations can post their jobs and can hire more women work force.We work with women who has gaps in career and help them on upskilling and reskilling.We do work with women who has children with disabilities and women who underwent domestic abuse and transgenders.We do work with organizations on a customized approach on creating returnship programs and to bring more women and Under represented minorities to Technolgy space.What sets me apart from others is that i really dont want to compare myself with any one .I am on my own journey and i am working on bigger vision that not only helps on my passion but also would support careers of fellow women.I am very much proud on my dedication and want to let you know that myself and my team are serious and we wont stop for anything .Our aim is to keep moving forward on building careers of women and improve percentages of women workforce in USA .
Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Team is very critical for any business.But my team doesnt just work for our company ,they work for me.They are my strength .Without them i am nothing.They dont want to see me down at any circumstances.Similarly i dont let them down .All my team represent my vision,Mission ,Self respect and i represent theirs .In my view ,the biggest asett for any company is to have loyal employees .When you find one,Please preserve.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
What i want o unlearn is to be nice to every one .In my journey i understood that no one really cares .Backstory is simple!.My experience of becoming an entrepreneur .
