We were lucky to catch up with Swank Sinatra recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Swank, thanks for joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
What I think it takes to be successful is first setting realistic goals to accomplish in order to maintain the upmost confidence in what your striving for. Being confident with the decisions your making & living with the results whether good or bad. Knowing good or bad results are about perception & to keep going no matter what especially if you believe in what your striving for. Furthermore being successful is a mindset & that start’s & finishes with the individual. To be successful you have to be consistent & work smarter not harder, quality over quantity will take you a long way. Consistent output of high quality product will eventually attract clientele it’s inevitable. Always remember to keep going & if you can’t be motivated at least be consistent. For instance I took a month off from releasing music because I was feeling disappointed in the results that I was getting as far as generating profits. So I decided to do some self reflection to gather my thoughts & observe my efforts & that led to new music being written along with a better perception of what needs to be done in order to accomplish my goals.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
The music industry wasn’t a goal of mines until I noticed that I’ve done plenty of the root foundations of music. Such as being a DJ, dancer, drawing artwork ,fashion enthusiast & poet. Once I noticed the initial ground work of my love for music in 2017 I decided to establish my own LLC to take my interest in music to the next level. Turning a hobby into a career wasn’t ideal to me but it made sense to put energy into something I loved. Recording music that I wrote has transitioned to studios in Denver, Colorado to recording in the comfort of my own home by teaching myself to engineer & mix & master my own recordings. Perfecting the art of live performances has given me the confidence to not chase opportunities to perform at every festival or showcase but rather have faith that the right talent buyer will approach me with a proposal that benefits both parties involved. That has separated me from other artists in a great way because I’m becoming more business minded along with maintaining my integrity as an artist so that every opportunity I accept will result in growth. Not quitting is what I’m most proud of & my biggest accomplishment in the music industry. Generating profits come & go along with performances but the ideology of not quitting is invigorating. The main things I want potential clients, followers, fans to know about my brand & work is that it’s all inspired by real life experiences & truthful expression of how I feel or felt during that time in space when I wrote, performed, designed a piece of art or clothing & that Swank Sinatra is a embodiment of never quitting & believing in what your striving for.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Being professional no matter the size of the gig nor the notoriety of company that approaches me has given me a stellar reputation within my market. Consistent output of high quality product along with maintaining the upmost professional communication with clients has helped me build my reputation within my market as well.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
So far in my journey in the music industry 2019 has been my most successful year. With Covid & personal issues to deal with the following year it was very difficult to maintain any consistent output along with staying motivated. The love for my craft kept me from quitting & the mindset of keep going made me strive for more. Having prior experience of getting through harsh times gave me the additional confidence that I could make it through any obstacles in life as long as I maintained a positive perception. Furthermore being resilient isn’t easy but it’s worth it in the long run.
