Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Swanda Warren. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Swanda, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.

EARresistible by SwansDesign was birthed in November of 2018 after coming off a fast with a friend. I wasn’t sure how I was going to conceptualize the revealed idea. I was taking a risk while trusting a higher being. I knew I had the gift of creativity, but I wasn’t comfortable with how to create earrings. However, through trial and error, I quickly learned. I get inspiration from EVERYTHING which spills out into my bold and beautiful statement earrings. My designs are from my hEARt to your EAR!

I am Swanda Warren, CEO of EARresistible by SwansDesign!

I am creative.

I am down to earth.

I am bolder than I was yesterday.

I am a Christian woman who respects all views.

I was born and raised in Greenville, NC. I am a graduate of North Carolina Central University (2002), as well as a graduate of University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I received my Master’s degree in Leadership in Childhood Education (2017).
I have always been creative and got into the business from a vison that was downloaded from a fast with a friend.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I built my audience and still building my audience by going live! Going live so they can connect the name, brand, product with an actual human! They can see my energy and that it exudes into my products. You must be consistent with whatever you promised your audience. If you say a certain day and time SHOW UP and SHOW UP prepared to share SOMETHING! Show up ON TIME! Log in early! Have a script and stick to it so you don’t forget important information to share.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

My business started one year before COVID. So it was great that it had started but then everyone and the world shifted and business picked up and then it slowed down but I remained CONSISTENCY in the pursuit of my business goals.
