Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Svnday. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Svnday thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
The first time I actually went to the studio and rapped a rap I had written , I knew immediately then it’s what I wanted to do forever, hearing my voice play back with a beat my mind just went In so many different directions, the rush of that alone is something I’ve been enjoying every since.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I got into the music industry thanks to a high school friend of mine, she was the First person with connections to really believe in me and help me shape who I am today as an artist, I think the biggest thing that separates me from a lot of todays artist is I’m not a social media music success I’ve put in quite a few years in the background of some major label situations and hand the opportunity to learn and grow in the process I’m more of a traditionally trained and groomed artist
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I’d say easily when I changed my name to Svnday, rebranding and re familiarizing my fans with my music due to the change easily has been the biggest pivot in my career
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
One of my biggest goals is to be nominated for and win a Grammy.
