We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Susie Castellion a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Susie, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.

Starting a Cattery with importing from Europe the finest cats to start was a huge process. Making sure they get the best care along the way. Health testing the kittens to make sure health is top notch to breed. It is a gamble but I was lucky to start with healthy parents.

Susie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I have placed many kittens in the best homes only! What I love most is the return of pictures and videos of my angels I raised.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Love making videos and pictures of the kittens as they grow and share them on our social media sites!

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

Many different complications can occur during birth. My first girl I fixed after birth cause she had complications. That is the nature of breeding. I just picked up tried again with my other girl and it was successful!
