We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Susan Carr a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Susan, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Dreams can become realities. This includes life goals and wedding/event planning. Hard work and dedication are great but without a dream what are you doing? Have you ever dreamed of the perfect wedding, quince, or company picnic? It is my dream (goal) to make that happen at every booking at S&S Ranch. I owned a venue and sold in 1n 1998 for personal reasons and became a nurse. One thing you cannot teach a nurse is how to care- the same goes for event planning. I have a passion for making other people feel good as a nurse or a venue owner. I am still working 3 days a week as a nurse. Hard work and dedication is how my husband and I have created this venue. When I say created, I mean from the ground up. We have some beautiful gardens, buildings and other areas that delights everyone that comes here. From the wildlife to the man-made creations we are very blessed!
