We were lucky to catch up with Super Smash Cache recently and have shared our conversation below.
Super Smash Cache, appreciate you joining us today. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers?
I review sex toys and share my feral field notes to:
1. Help shoppers decide which products work best for them, like a stylist. Every body is different; there is no such thing as a perfect sex toy, but there is a fantastic fit for you.
2. Teach how to hit different hot spots, depending on a toy’s shape.
3. Remind women that their bodies are extraordinarily capable of pleasure. 10 (or more!) of my orgasms for every one of his is a recurring ratio.
It’s more attainable than one might think, especially when a woman:
– Gets in touch with her erogenous zones and breath
– Stays present and mindful in the moment
– Sets boundaries because she knows she deserves to feel good
– Samples the sensations available to her
– Embraces the edges and gets creative
Part of what I do differently from others in my industry is my willingness to explore sensations from (literally) many angles in my reviews — shallow penetration, deep penetration, straight in, tilting toward the front wall, broad vibrations, pinpoint; you name it.
G-spot toys, which are meant for shallow penetration, are super popular, but my favorites are those that massage my cervix and the areas around it. Many readers who experimented with cervical orgasms because of my blog discovered deeper, full-body orgasms. Other ways they’ve sampled sensations per my suggestions include one who unlocked orgasms via breathing and clenching and some reporting their first-ever (or second or third-ever) orgasms.

Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I realized hookup culture just wasn’t for me in college, when I didn’t know my own body’s hot spots, let alone how to teach a partner to fuck me well.
Sex toys gave me more means to explore erotic sensations by myself, for myself, and on my timeline. From there, I could share those experiences and techniques with my partners.
My sexual pleasure is built on my relationship with myself — not my fuckability or wifeability in the eyes of a man. And that’s subversive when the standard narratives about sex revolve around the penis and male pleasure.
My capacity to feel good starts from within, linking my brain, breath, and body. The toys are just tools to expand my palate.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn perfectionism, especially the tendency to attach my work’s value to external cues like vanity metrics, social media engagement, and rankings.
For starters, the quality of my work doesn’t change every time Google or Meta changes its algorithms. While getting more eyes on my content helps business, the focus is more heavily on humans who find my content and resonate with it.
Second, I don’t know many content creators who haven’t compared themselves to others. It became easier to let go of that once I learned about personal branding archetypes in marketing.
No, I’m not the kind of content creator who will pose in lingerie and perfectly coiffed hair on satin sheets, and that’s okay. I get to be brash, bold, messy — and the right readers for me love that.
Finally, taking your insights and gifts for granted is easy. Sometimes, I’ll post what I think is unrefined garbage — per Simone Seol’s Garbage Post Challenge — and readers will love it more than the other content I polish and overwork! Kelly Diels says something similar: “Do It Super Shitty” first.
(More on them in the following response.)

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
I love practically every resource made by Kelly Diels and Simone Seol. They’re business coaches who:
– Focus on being led by your values and connections with your people
– Value rest and play — idle wandering, leisure, and curiosity are vital for creatives
– Have practical tips for not just time management but also energy management in a noisy and imperfect world
– Love you when you’re a badass and when you’re having a human moment crying on the couch
Also, it was Captolia (The Digital Witch) who taught me about branding archetypes. Her vibe is bubbly and bimbofied — she wants you to shine bright as your you-est self in business!
