We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sunny Khachatryan. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sunny below.
Sunny, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Have you ever had an amazing boss, mentor or leader leading you? Can you us a story or anecdote that helps illustrate why this person was such a great leader and the impact they had on you or their team?
Mr. Tony King! He has inspired me to be a better leader, assertive with my approach with compassion. Tony motivated me to continue grow not only professionally but also on a personal level. He has been the best mentor! I am beyond grateful for Tony’s wisdom and kindness.

Sunny, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My desire for the mental health field has been my compassion for the suffering. Since the 7th grade, I knew I wanted to help individuals with mental health issues. I am a relational therapist, my belief is, in order to connect with my clients, I must first create a relationship with them. I am transparent with my clients based on the significance of how it will be beneficial for them. My goal with my clients is to guide them to a healthy pathway of discovering their true self, in the elements of self love and self compassion.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
Absolutely, my compassion for the mental health field continues to grow. It has been the most rewarding experience I have encountered by working with amazing clients. My clients inspire and teach me everyday what it is like to not only struggle but get to a point in their lives that surviving has transpired to living in a fulfilling life path. The mind is such a beautiful element of our true self, it is significant to become compassionate with our thoughts and provide self love as we discover our daily desires. Mental well-being is a life long journey through support not only from others but mainly from self!

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Be yourself! Don’t be a textbook therapist, clients want and desire authenticity. Show up as you! Relational approach has been effective. In order for therapy to take place, I must first build a relationship with my clients.
