We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sunni T. Connor a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Sunni T. , appreciate you joining us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
I’m trying to build a legacy of change that will live on far beyond my years. I think I will be remembered for never giving up! More than anything I want to help people and I want my work to continue to help others after I’m gone. People often fear death, but the thing we should fear most is dying with our gift inside of us. My entire existence is to show people what I’ve learned about being your authentic self and how that is the only thing you need to be doing while on this planet.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
I’m an author first, which has often confused my clients because they assume I’m a mindset coach first that simply wrote a book to help others. But that is furthest from the truth. I’ve loved words since I was four years old, and I’ve been writing just about that long. At this point, I literally can’t imagine my life without writing.
I’ve always helped others make big changes in their lives, but I never looked at it like a career. It was actually a friend of mine who suggested I start coaching others as a business. It felt dirty at first like I was charging people to help them. It wasn’t my style. That all changed, the day I coached a client into manifesting a large sum of money. From that day forward I understood, that coaching someone to change their mindset was an investment and I continually feel amazing watching people shift from lack, worry, and stress to abundance, peace, and freedom.
I’m most proud of my latest book titled, ‘Society Vs You: Play The Game Your Way” The book has already helped so many people. Each chapter is like a stage in life that we must play to reach a new level. Life is truly a game that we often forget we’re playing. I’m here as a reminder, to not take this place too seriously and to choose yourself over the version society has enforced on you.
I’ve just opened up my schedule, so I finally have time for new clients! I’m so excited to help others change their mindset. The tools I use to achieve my client’s personal goals will in fact change their lives for the better. That’s a strong accusation, but I’ve seen it work too many times, which is why I’m confident in my methods.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My brand was built by staying consistent and authentic. As an author, I’ve switched genres quite a bit, but I’ve never written a book that wasn’t true to myself. I believe people can see when you are faking and that’s a turnoff. Be authentic and the audience or clients will always gravitate towards what’s real.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My mission is to touch as many hearts as possible while I’m on this planet. I am here, I exist and I want to show as many people as possible how to live their life to the fullest while they reside in their bodies. I won’t stop until people see who they really are or until I die. So, hopefully, I won’t be stopping anytime soon.
