We were lucky to catch up with Sunday Coleman recently and have shared our conversation below.
Sunday , appreciate you joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
For the most part my entire life has been subjected to taking risk. Being a risk taker is actually one of my most attractive attributes. Because I live with a chronic health condition, Sickle Cell Anemia, since birth I’ve learned and found the beauty in taking risk. My sickle cell condition has caused me to take risk many many of times. For instance, I’ve had to try a number of medical physicians, numerous surgeries, childbirth, relocating, indefinite leave of absence’s from work, starting a business, and the list goes on.
Because I have a optimistic view on life, majority of the risk I’ve taken turned out great. Weather the outcome was how I thought it would go or if it didn’t go how I expected it to go. For me, every risk I’ve taken has been worth it, and I’m happy with it.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I am a licensed esthetician, with advanced skincare training in chemical peels, and micro-needling. I specialize in corrective skincare and anti-aging. What sets me apart from others is my education and passion for healthy skin, not clear skin. I love learning. Staying ahead of the game and aware of what’s changing in the beauty industry is so important. I am most proud of working as a solo esthetician while running my own business.
I want readers to know that Regen The Skin stands with all people and all skin types/conditions. Skincare is important to one’s health, mental health, and emotional health. It’s not only about looking your best but feeling your best. We offer – range of relaxing facial treatments to advance skincare treatments.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
There’s so many moments in my journey that illustrates resilience.
I’ve worked a 9-to-5 job before and had to go out on disability.
I relocated from Maryland to California, and then back to Maryland over the course of 4 years.
I become a single mom by choice, went to school, and worked full time.
I’ve started business twice.
All while living with a chronic health condition; Sickle Cell Anemia.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
I would definitely have to say Professionalism & Character. A persons character, integrity, and core values will allow them to be successful in life regardless of the field their in. That is what’s most important.
