We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sue Sheridan a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Sue, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the best or worst investment you’ve made (either in terms of time or money)? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)
The worst investment I done was putting together a boyband. Working with other parents teenage sons who ultimately no respect for another human being who was investing time and money into their careers.
Never assume you are helping someone else realise their dreams, sit back and see how much energy they themselves are putting into making their own dreams come to live then you know if they’re serious or not.
They say things happen for a reason and through doing this I met so many other people who are still in my life today.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Was ask to attend a X Factor audition with a singer, the researchers assumed I was the manager and I was asked to put a boyband together which I did and within weeks got them signed to a booking agent with one of the biggest agencies in the world. I then was asked to take on someone else, then someone and it all just grew from there.
Currently a USA and UK agent.

Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
NFTs are a slow burner and I think once more people understand the concept I believe it will grow.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Covid 19 in 202 during the pandemic I caught Covid, by day 9 I was dying and didn’t even realise. I was admitted into resus and then taken to Intensive care/critical care where I was sedated.
My kidneys began to fail and my body was fighting so hard.
I lost a month of my life, lost my hair and lived to tell the tale.
In terms of the agency I lost one reality star.
