We recently connected with Suany Ortiz and have shared our conversation below.
Suany, appreciate you joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
I have been painting since I can remember. My style has changed throughout my life I found my signature style a few years ago which best shows what I’m trying to express through my artwork. I wouldn’t change any obstacles that stood in the way of me becoming the artist that I am today. Each setback taught me something important, it showed me how to make and express my art better and who believes in me. I think one essential skill to me is having trust and faith in the process.

Suany, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Art is the expression of oneself, it gives us the ability to express ourselves but also to feel understood in ways nothing or no one else can. My art leaves much room for interpretation. This is one of the things I enjoy the most how each person feels connected to my paintings according to their own unique life experience.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
There is two things I find extremely rewarding first of all is seeing the final artwork after the chaos of creating it to be able to see that I created exactly what I imagined. Secondly is seeing clients connect and enjoy my painting.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I keep in touch through social media and my website suanyogart.com but I definitely stay very active on Instagram sharing latest projects and answering any type of questions.
