We recently connected with Stuart Glass and have shared our conversation below.
Stuart, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s jump back to the first dollar you earned as a creative? What can you share with us about how it happened?
While I was in law school, I had a roommate who’s mother produced ads in LA. I sent her a script. She bought it & produced it & I got a check. Truthfully, I enjoy creativity whether I get paid for it or not.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m an attorney, and have been for 50 years. I was always creative, and edited the school papers, and/or yearbooks in high school, college & law school, I participated in class productions everywhere. Between marriages, i started taking improv classes & eventually performed several years onstage in an improv troupe.
After buying an acting class at a charity auction, I started taking classes & eventually was signed by Kim Dawson agency.
I feel just as at ease doing improv in front of a live audience as i do in front of a Judge.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I want a creative outlet. It’s not easy to be a lawyer all day every day. I’m better at both.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
Give it a shot. Go for it. I don’t want to think back & say “I wish I had….” Of course, that doesn’t include skydiving.,
