Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Stevii Mills. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Stevii, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
The story behind my mission is to help Subject Matter Experts to use their expertise and experience to increase their income online. My greatest mission in life is to equip them with the tools they need to succeed in life and business. When they are equipped there is no stopping their potential.
I know firsthand how it is to be so full of potential and not know exactly what to do with it. It took me a lot of years, energy, trial and error to learn how to simplify my business so that I could amplify my life. I believe that business is our opportunity to fund the lives that we love. We have been created with gifts, skills, talents and abilities that we can leverage to create profitable businesses.

Stevii, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I was the girl who went from kindergarten to Graduate School. The next logical thing was to get a job. The first job that I got was phenomenal. In my interview, the woman who would be my supervisor gave me the grant for the position and asked me to describe what I would do when I was given the job. What I told her must have worked because I was hired, lol. I was supposed to be there for 3 months, and God blessed me to be there for 3 years. I created the School To Work Transition Program, an amazing program where I could work with teens, work from home, make my own schedule, you know, all the things I loved. These are all of the things that I love to do now. After those 3 years, I decided to get the job I should have. After all, I did have a Masters’s Degree. So, I got that job. You know, the one with the 3 B’s. Business cards, benefits, and big girl paychecks. I loved the first 3 weeks because I was in training and could utilize per diem. Plus, I could spend my time in hotels I loved. All company paid for.
Then reality set in because training ended, and I went on to do my actual job. I was there for a little while, and I started hating it. I felt like a caged bird. I stayed on that job for 1 year, and after I left, I realized I was getting sick. I went from a size 14 to a size 0, having 3 colonoscopies within 30 days-2 in 24 hours, and I developed shingles, all due to stress. God utilized all that to help create what makes my heart and soul happy. He allowed me to see the importance of living and loving your life. If I had paid attention to the things I loved and not what I thought I should be doing, I would have been able to live the I Love My Life kind of life. The type of life you live on your terms, cultivate your It Factor and make money doing what you have been assigned. The products and services I have now are the ones I wish I had had when I was a young woman who didn’t know who she was personally or professionally.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn that there was just one right way to run my business. When I first started my business I thought that in order to be successful I would have to fit into a mold like everyone else I saw. Then I realized that if that was the case there wouldn’t be so many hamburger restaurants.
I then developed the thought pattern that I had to include who I am as a person into the way that I run my business because if I didn’t I would be running someone else’s business and not one that I custom designed.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I built my audience on social media mostly organically. I have a formula that I run my business by and that is Visibility + Credibility = Cash.
Visibility is the art of being seen. It is how you show up online. It is what is considered your brand presence. It’s what you want people to see you as and what social media platforms you want to be seen on.
Credibility is the know, like and trust factor. It is often said that people do business with people they know, like and trust. This is where your accomplishments and accolades come in. No matter how big or small YOU think something you’ve done is, it may be huge to someone else. It may in fact be the thing that separates you from anyone else who does what you do.
The more that you increase your online visibility and credibility, the more you will increase your cash that you make via the connections you make on social media.
Everyone starts with not having any followers but the ones who stay consistent the most will be the ones who get seen and get paid the most.
