We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Stevie Wright. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Stevie below.
Stevie, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
In the coaching space, there’s a large emphasis on mindset work. While I love mindset work, there’s a deeper and more sustainable level of transformation and healing that can happen with somatic work.
Somatic literally means, relating with the body.
Trauma, belief systems, old stories, negative patterns and looping thoughts all live in the body, not the mind. These energies literally live in our tissue and nervous system. So if you’re leaving out the body, you’re leaving out a big piece of the healing journey.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard clients or people in my community say, “I’ve done so much mindset work around this one thing but it’s not shifting.”
It’s because these beliefs are subconscious and the body is the doorway to the subconscious – Our memories and feelings are stored here.
It’s like an iceberg. We have this little pointy tip that we have access to which is our conscious mind, and the body is the huge iceberg that’s beneath the surface that we don’t usually have access to
And so when we’re working with the body in a somatic way, you’re reaching levels of the subconscious that when you touch them, that’s when you can really begin to make shifts in your life, because your actual Matrix is changing. Your code is changing.
And so really what I do is support people in tapping into the soma, the subconscious and healing beliefs at a deep nervous system level.

Stevie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m a transformational embodiment mentor and breathwork facilitator who specializes in helping people open portals to their unlimited potential. I apply somatic embodiment, breathwork, depth psychology and subconscious practices to help my clients live full, fun, creative and limitless lives.
I’m the founder of The Breath Channel, a breathwork membership platform that has attracted thousands of members for it’s fast and effective breathwork practices.
As a teenager I made it to the Top 36 of American Idol and sang for America. It was a beautiful but very traumatizing experience for me and lead me down a path of growth and healing.
That experience rocked my self esteem for years and through somatic work I was able to come back to myself fully and lead my life from a place of confidence and self worth.
I have a unique way of relating with the world which is one of pure receptivity and confidence. I believe that we all have a god given right to move toward and have our desires. My mission is to support people into their truest essence and help them express themselves fully.

How did you build your audience on social media?
It’s been a slow build but I feel like in the last 7 years I’ve cultivated a strong that audience that trusts me. I did this by showing up daily and offering value and sharing from my heart.
I share what I’m moving through, how I’m holding myself and my clients in an empowered way, helpful tools and practices and genuinely care about my community.
This is key. If you care about your people, your community can’t help but flourish.
I have offerings that shift peoples lives and I’ve allowed myself the slow process of gaining others’ trust.
I’m in integrity and an embodiment of what I teach which also is a trust builder.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
All in the DMs!
There are people that I’ve had relationships with for YEARS that I’ve never met. I’ve held them in different containers and they share updates with me about where they’re at even if they’re not a current client.
My community knows they can always reach out.
I also use Voxer as a more intimate way for my private clients and I to drop in and connect with each other.
