Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Steven Ferrand . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Steven , thanks for joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
I’ve been honored to work on a couple very meaningful projects this far, October of 2022 I was honored to host a show with Leona Williams as my guest, Leona has written several number one hit songs, was married to Country Music Superstar Merle Haggard, and played along side Loretta Lynn with Loretta’s band the blue Kentuckians, Leona has become one of my biggest influences, friends and mentors! She’s got a heart for helping us young guys out!
Steven , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Sure! I was honored to be interviewed by the other issue the Nashville Voyager last spring and I shared I moved to Nashville in 2020 to pursue Country Music! One thing I can share with future entertainers is that it’s a fight! Especially in Nashville, your up against every single other upcoming artist there’s a lot of pressure but if you want it bad enough you can succeed! One thing I’ve learned is to be humble! Never stop being humble there’s always something to learn! As a singer engage with your fans, be their friend! Your fans are the reason you do this, at least that’s my case! It’s my fans! My fans are everything! I’ve stepped into some promotions work which is also a lot of hard work but you meet and get to work with a lot of really incredible people.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
As I mentioned my fans! It’s so rewarding to me to repeat a show and see fans I’ve met before, or meet new fans when I go somewhere new! Without my fans I would be nowhere!
How did you build your audience on social media?
Network network network!! Get out and meet people! Introduce yourself, introduce your music! Build a relationship with everyone around you!
