We recently connected with Steve Ramona and have shared our conversation below.
Steve, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today One deeply underappreciated facet of entrepreneurship is the kind of crazy stuff we have to deal with as business owners. Sometimes it’s crazy positive sometimes it’s crazy negative, but crazy experiences unite entrepreneurs regardless of industry. Can you share a crazy story with our readers?
I owned a Recycling business from 2006 to 2013. Business was booming. My staff was happy. Money was not an issue. I worked with the government, which paid me for the work we did. In 2012 things started to change where money was not coming in. They had changed the rules of payment. So I did pivot for a year changing how we would make money with our business. I worked for about 6 months, then all businesses stopped coming in in 2013. I met with my advisors in my business, and made the decision to close the business. This was one of the hardest years of my 62 years. I felt like a failure. I had to learn that this happens to many businesses. I learned to move on. I took lessons from this story and am now doing better than ever in business.

Steve, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Steve Ramona discovered his calling at a young age and is now on a mission to share his secret sauce for success. He thrives on forging meaningful connections, sharing referrals, and watching people flourish. His contagious passion for the Law of Increase makes his podcast “Doing Business with a Servant’s Heart” so successful. This show is chock-full of inspiring stories about overcoming challenges and serving others.
Steve has a knack for spreading good vibes and elevating those around him. He learned from his dad that the entrepreneurial spirit is a great way to make money. I can share stories of how people serve, struggle, and win. We must overcome something, so why not learn to serve and overcome it much faster? I learned early in our Health Club the importance of customer service. I knew the more I served, the more it was a win-win for everyone. I enjoy working with people, referring people, and helping people grow. The Law of Increase is my mission when I network around the world.
I love to mentor businesspeople and offer all the resources I have. To win, you must grow yourself first; then, you can share this with others! I am an avid reader.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I learned serving someone needs to go both ways. I serve you if someone asks I need them to serve me. The universe works in that way and will reward you. In the past, I would serve someone but not receive it back to me. Once I learned to do that, my life changed. I will have my best year ever in business in 2023
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
This is all about building relationships. Bring value to everyone you meet. Become valuable to them. Even on Social Media, you can do this. Promote a client or a friend. Talk about how good someone is. The last piece is to be authentic when you are building relationships. Not everyone will be a good fit for you.
