Steve, appreciate you joining us today. So, let’s start with trends – what are some of the largest or more impactful trends you are seeing in the industry?
Some of the biggest trends I am seeing in the event industry are:
*Mocktails are all the rage! Whether served in flutes or goblets expect non-alcoholic beverages to be a staple at parties in 2023.
*Milestone celebrations will be big in 2023! A cake is nice, but a party is even better. Whether it be a Fabulous & Fifty or Sassy & Sixty, I am sure you will invited to a milestone event this year.
*Vibrant Colors will be prevalent at events this year. Now that the pandemic is for the most part behind us party-goers are wanting bright & bold in invitations, flowers, decor, attire and more

Steve Kemble, recently profiled in The New York Times, is a known commodity. The world-renowned fashion and life-style expert, named one of the “Top 10 in the World” by Departures Magazine, has thrown bashes for the likes of George W. Bush, Barack Obama, the Dallas Cowboys, Oprah Winfrey and many other names one would recognize from the Forbes list. He has built himself into a brand as “America’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru” with a number of TV appearances on shows ranging from “Extreme Makeover Wedding Edition”, to CBS “Early Show”, “Good Morning America” and “The Today Show”.
Kemble has garnered more than twenty-five event and meeting industry awards, and has been inducted in the Event Industry Hall of Fame, and he received the Special Event Gala Lifetime Achievement award. Kemble has been inducted into the Georgetown High School Hall of Fame, and was named a Distinguished Alumni from his alma mater Texas State University.
Today in addition to his lifestyle work, Kemble is sought out as one of the most engaging emcee’s for social galas throughout the world.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I have built the reputation of my company in the market by a providing a quality experience for my clients while giving a priority to customer service and transparency. Additionally, I have gotten very involved and have given back to the my community, something I have truly enjoyed!
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I have built my audience on social media by using these techniques: *including a visual with each post. Remember photos with faces get close to 40% more likes than those without
*when appropriate, share more video with your followers. Undisputed, video is the most engaging content type on every social media platform. The more views, the more reach you have- which increases your engagement and exposure
*it is important to be proactive! Listen to and respond to your followers
*encourage tagging- you are drawing people into the fold by doing so
*use hashtags to get found and noticed
*and last but not least…it never hurts to incorporate and use a bit of humor
