As the CEO of Krisis Flood Bags, my mission is deeply personal and driven by a desire to protect families, businesses and communities from the devasting impact of floods. Having witnessed firsthand the destruction caused by floods both locally and globally l realized that much more could be done to safeguard what matters most–our homes, livelihoods and cherished memories. This mission goes beyond just preventing property damage, it’s about helping people preserve their investments, their futures and the things they hold dear.
Krisis Flood Bags was born out of a desire to be proactive, not reactive. I believe that with the right tools and preparation, we can reduce the devasting impact of floods and help people recover faster and more effectively. For me, this isn’t just a business-it’s a means to empower communities, businesses and governments to protect themselves and reduce the emotional and financial toll that floods inevitably bring.

About Steve Harris CEO and Krisis Flood Bags
For those unfamiliar with my work, let me introduce myself and my company. My name is Steve Harris and l am the CEO and owner of Krisis Flood Bags. My career has always gravitated towards industries that serve a greater purpose – those that truly impact people’s lives in meaningful ways. My entry into the flood mitigation industry began with a simple, yet powerful realization: floods are one of the most devasting natural disasters, affecting more people worldwide than any other catastrophe. The losses–financial, emotional and social –staggering.
Krisis Flood Bags was created because current flood prevention solutions simply weren’t enough to meet the growing threat. After witnessing the devastating effects of floods, l felt compelled to develop a solution that could truly mitigate the damage. Krisis Flood Bags offers watertight content protection for homes and businesses, serving as the ultimate defense against flood devastation.
What makes our bags unique is their military grade, IPX8 – verified durability–test to withstand complete submersion for extended periods without any water ingress. This allows people to protect what matters most, whether its furniture, equipment or personal belongings, without the need for constant monitoring during a flood.
Why Krisis Flood Bags?
As climate change continues to increase the frequency and severity of floods, our products offer a simple yet effective solution to a growing global problem. According to the US Chamber of Commerce, for every $1 spent on flood preparation, communities save $13 in recovery costs. Krisis Flood Bags provides individuals, businesses and government agencies with a proactive way to protect assets before disaster strikes, ensuring peace of mind when it’s needed most.
Our products solve a critical problem: traditional solutions like sandbags don’t protect the valuable contents inside homes and businesses. Krisis Flood Bags, with their quick deployment, ease of use, and reusability, bridge this gap by offering long-lasting protection while minimizing environmental impact.
Ultimately, Krisis Flood Bags represents more than just a product. It embodies a mindset of preparedness, resilience, and cost savings. While floods may be unavoidable, the damage they cause can be significantly reduced. At Krisis Flood Bag, we are building stronger communities, helping them recover faster and with far less financial and emotional burden.
As we continue to grow, our goal is to collaborate with government agencies, insurance companies and communities globally to ensure flood resilience becomes a priority. Krisis Flood Bags is not just about offering a product –it’s about delivering peace of mind, preparedness, and ultimately defense against nature’s most destructive force.
We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
I first met my business partner though a previous company we worked for, and we quickly bonded over our shared passion for solving global challenges. His extensive experience in investment and business growth made him the perfect complement to my vision for Krisis Flood Bags. Together, we recognized the immense potential of combining our expertise to create a product that could truly make a difference in flood mitigation. Our partnership is the foundation of a global venture that seeks to protect homes and businesses from the ever-growing threat of floods.
Can you talk to us about manufacturing? How’d you figure it all out? We’d love to hear the story.
When l first set out to create Krisis Flood Bags, l knew l needed a specialist partner that could deliver high quality, watertight zippers–an essential component in ensuring our products effectiveness. After extensive research, l found a manufacturer in China that specialized in military-grade watertight solutions. Their expertise and dedication to quality were instrumental in ensuring that our bags met IPX8 standards, capable of providing the necessary protection during critical flood conditions.
The lessons l have learned along the way have been invaluable. Manufacturing requires patience, attention to detail, and the right partners who share your vision for quality and innovation. Every step we take is aimed at ensuring our products deliver unmatched performance and reliability when people need them most.
