Stephanie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea

My soap business came together one day as I was researching for my husband something he could use that would not make his skin sensitive. I started researching soapmaking and bath and body and started making and testing out my own recipes and knew what I wanted to put on my skin and it wouldn’t be store bought soap that’s make with tons of chemicals. I loved making people feel good about what they were putting on their skin.

Stephanie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I want people to know everything is made handmade and with love. I want people to experience what I experience using my products and everything is carefully picked including ingredients to ensure quality and sustainability.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Social Media is by far my biggest audience and how my Sales are driven. It’s important to take good photos and represent your brand in a positive way and make sure it stands out. It’s tough with a lot of competition and the main thing is consistency is key and it takes time to gain followers and potential customers through social media.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I think what helped me gain my reputation is doing Farmers Markets and really putting myself out there. I also do Giveaways where if people are sceptical of trying my products they can try it that way or I always put free samples of my products with orders so my customers can try a variety of products I make! I also sold on and still selling on Etsy Marketplace and we have a Shopify Store!
