We recently connected with Stephanie Saunders Suskind and have shared our conversation below.
Stephanie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
With “The Callout”, I aim to foster an honest and open dialogue about the issues women often avoid confronting. My upcoming debut book, aptly titled “The Callout” serves as a catalyst for this much-needed conversation. In a time where authenticity and self-awareness are paramount, I am challenging myself and my audience to look inward and embrace truth, growth and accountability collectively and fess up to the truth behind what holds women back from being truly fulfilled and authentic.
Stephanie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Stephanie Saunders Suskind (AKA Triple S) is an angel investor, philanthropist and thought leader. As a self-described “positive deviant,” going against the grain of the typical educational background feels appropriate to share here but she did in fact graduate with a Masters from Florida International University.
After her Masters Stephanie had a 10 year stint in the corporate world, managing distressed real estate assets valued at over $100 million. She also contributed significantly to brand positioning, marketing, communication and sales development for law firms and hedge funds during the U.S. housing crisis.
After leaving the corporate world, Stephanie began investing in distressed real estate on her own and played a vital role in expanding online sales for new companies. Her outstanding efforts during the 2020 pandemic earned her recognition as a “Top 10 Social Media Influencer” by Forbes.
In her personal life, Stephanie is a champion for women’s issues and mental health. She established the Suskind Family Foundation with her husband in 2020 to support the causes closest to her heart.
She is a world traveler and cultural connoisseur, always seeking opportunities to empower women to thrive and live their most vibrant lives.

In all aspects of her life, Stephanie is a woman of integrity and authenticity, with a focus on guiding by example and calling people out on their bullsh*t.
In her new endeavor Stephanie Saunders Suskind, a proud Miami native, is igniting a powerful call to action
for women in her community and beyond with her project, “The Callout”. Where she is on a mission to revolutionize the conversation and
empower women worldwide with the aim of effecting social change
by bringing women together.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Having navigated the corporate world in a male-dominated industry, and my personal journey, marked by struggles within family dynamics and challenges in female friendships, i’m fueled with determination to
effect change in the female landscape to igniting a movement that creates a supportive communities where women can engage with one another with more honestly and less judgment as well as dive into the things we blame others for – in order to avoid confronting our own blocks.
Safe communities are necessary- where we can be vulnerable and honest about the not-so-glamorous parts of life that we all deal with, the battles we face offline, and more.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
After years of working in corporate America and becoming an independent investor, I had achieved all the things a modern, social-media-addled woman could want. The picture-perfect marriage, the money, the adorable dog, enough botox in my face to poison a small shark. But I wasn’t happy. I had no real female friendships and nothing that truly fulfilled me. After blowing through $500k on designer apparel during my first two years of marriage, I had a full closet but an empty sense of purpose. Sipping mimosas at 11am nearly 4 days a week (after either a pilates class or a fashion show for a “good cause”) was not in fact, increasing my happiness. I finally threw in the (Missoni) towel and went full hermit mode
I didn’t know what to do next. I was supposed to be happy. What was I doing wrong? It was only when I did the inner work, exploring spirituality, studying philosophy, and taking an introspective look at my own behavior, that I realized my true purpose. I was put on this earth to call people out. And no, not in a mean way and not as a bully, but rather as a mirror. And the first step, was calling out myself.
