We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Stephanie Sacks. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Stephanie below.
Alright, Stephanie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about how you got your first non-friend, non-family client. Paint the picture for us so we can feel the same excitement you felt on that day.
My first client that was not a family or friend found me via a third party design marketplace where I was advertising my services. His name was Tony and we ended up connecting over email and working together on three different company brands and websites over the course of two years. He referred me to another client and the rest was history! That first successful project really kickstarted my career and hasn’t stopped since.

Stephanie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
With over a decade of design experience, I bring a unique and thoughtful approach as owner of Grandview Collective. I have a passion for helping entrepreneurs make authentic connections with their audiences through creative direction and digital design. I primarily work with small businesses and entrepreneurs in a variety of ways including brand identity, website design, marketing collateral, social media design and business consulting.
I am so thankful for all of the amazing clients I have been blessed to work with over the years. From photographers and small business owners, to churches and restaurants, every project is a true labor of love.
I book several months in advance, but have availability this summer for full brand and website projects. Feel free to DM me on instagram @grandviewcollective or email me at [email protected] to inquire about your project!
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
When I started Grandview Collective several years ago, my goal was to grow my design knowledge and experience and ultimately evolve the business into a boutique marketing agency. It’s so inspiring to work with powerful women and support them in their goal of creating financial independence by doing something they love!

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
I’ve made it a number one priority to nurture and create real relationships with each and every one of my clients. Through that, I’ve been able to grow my clientele through referrals. My second most successful growth strategy has been utilizing social media – instagram specifically. I am very strategic about how I curate and post on social media and try to share a variety of projects and create organic relationships and engage with potential customers.
