We were lucky to catch up with Stephanie Robilio recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephanie, thanks for joining us today. Can you recount a time when the advice you provided to a client was really spot on? (Please note this response is for education/entertainment purposes only and shouldn’t be construed as advice for the reader)
In the course of my career, I’ve had the honor of collaborating with countless individuals. I believe that the most invaluable guidance I’ve offered is guiding people to discover inner peace.
When I reflect on this, one remarkable individual comes to mind—a person I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with for a span of four years. Throughout her life, she has struggled with a self-limited and shame-based internal narrative that her mental health condition would impede her success, leading to addiction and isolation from her loved ones and community support. She lived years dwelling on her perceived shortcomings, wearing many masks out of fear of showing her true self, and seeking external validation. All of which continued to perpetuate the cycles of mental health struggles and addiction. However, through our dedicated work together, where I provided a safe space for her to discover and unlock her true self, her transformation has been nothing short of astounding. She recently marked a significant milestone, celebrating one year of sobriety, and she lives each day authentically and practices seeing, hearing, and loving herself. She no longer looks to the external world for validation as she has learned how to show up for herself every day. It has been amazing to be a part of her journey and witness her growth.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
Yes, without a doubt! I absolutely love what I do every day and truly feel aligned with my soul’s purpose. My work doesn’t feel like work – it’s fun, exciting, and a true honor to be able to help, teach, and give back.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
In my field, having the education and training is essential for success. However, I firmly hold the belief that having a team that shares the same core values and mission adds a dimension beyond any education or training. I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of the team at AGAPE, and I wholeheartedly attribute our ability to provide the utmost hospitality and excellent care to our community because of our shared dedication and love for what we do. Together, we are aligned by our purpose and unstoppable. Education and training can only fill you up so much, but love is neverending and limitless and that’s what we have – love. Love for each other, who we are, our community, and the work we are honored to do.
