Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
From my early toddler days, pets have been an integral part of my life, offering companionship and joy. As my career flourished with the success of a family business, endorsed by Oprah Winfrey as her favorite bra for four consecutive years, life took an unexpected turn after a challenging trip and fall.
The accident led to a six-month treatment of IVIG and a diagnosis of CIDP, compelling me to learn how to walk again. Throughout this arduous journey, the unwavering love and support of my pets became a source of comfort and strength.
This profound experience prompted a significant shift in my perspective. Recognizing the unique bond between humans and their furry companions, I decided to redirect my focus towards pet awareness for safety, care, and emphasizing the enduring role pets play as cherished family members.
Understanding that pets are not just objects but invaluable members of our families, I dedicated myself to creating a platform that provides information, resources, and products to enhance the well-being of these beloved companions. The journey from Oprah’s favorite bra to a passionate advocate for pet well-being reflects the transformative power of adversity and the deep connection we share with our pets from our earliest years.
