We recently connected with Stephanie Link and have shared our conversation below.
Stephanie, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So, let’s start with trends – what are some of the largest or more impactful trends you are seeing in the industry?
Fast fashion seems to have been here for a minute, but now I am starting to slowly see that go away. Primarily because society is becoming more educated about what is made and placed in their clothing and how it is made. It is becoming more and more of a topic on people’s minds.
Recent example is I had a customer inform me they don’t want to see some of the popular fast casual brands and I completely respect that. I don’t offer this fast casual brands on my site any further. Plus, they don’t really resell for very much. It’s actually a loss for my business.
Culturally speaking, not everyone can afford prices in the United States. So my business model allows people to find affordable nice clothing at fair pricing. Whether it’s an every day brand up to luxury brand, we offer it all.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I developed a passion for textiles and upcycling about 4 years ago. Most of my life my family was poor but my mother always ensured I had clothing on my back. I knew she worked hard to make that happen. So in my adult life, I learned that not everyone can afford nice quality clothes that are made with ethical standards. Sheer chance, I had met a high performing Poshmark Ambassador and befriended her immediately about 2 years ago. We quickly connected on the topic of resale. I had already been shopping at resale or consignment stores. After hearing about my friends thriving business, I wanted to start my own – so I did! In April 2022, I launched Be Seen Again, LLC – A woman owned business thriving in resale. I have spent countess hours sourcing products for my digital storefront to ensure anyone can have access to competitively and modestly priced textiles. I have an interest in ensuring textiles stay out of landfills as well. My company is founded on those principles: Ensuring clothing is available at affordable prices and lowering gas emissions from landfill waste.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
The first two years of my business went by very quickly. Then I changed careers and I lost a little time trying to run my business because I was focused on my career. But now that I’ve reset my goals and I have some assistance, we are back up and running stronger than ever, and I’m super proud of that.

Have you ever had to pivot?
Earlier this year, I changed careers out of 22 year well decorated career. Moved into manufacturing. It’s a big change took a lot and mentally, though it has made me stronger to cover path forward for the rest of my life and businesses
