We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Stephanie Hoyte. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Stephanie below.
Hi Stephanie, thanks for joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
In 2019 I had plastic surgery done and I was apart of a private surgery group of thousands of women going through the same thing, so one day as I was recovering and using the products provided to me by the surgery center I realized it was not providing the results I desired or providing the comfort either. So one of my surgery sisters asked a great question, Why don’t I create something that can help our results and provide the comfort we need? so I later that day thought about what can I create to make my results better and that’s when I created my ab board to be more comfortable, longer, and thicker to provide comfort and coverage that was needed to provide the results that I needed as well as my surgery sisters.
I started to use the product I created and later that week my results improved dramatically and I shared it with the others and even sent out samples as well. I also created a longer version and changed the look of the product to be able to help everyone who had a long or short torso instead of one standard size.
By doing that I was the first person to create a long version of a Ab board and also the change of color, there was only tan color option available, but I created it in black to provide a cleaner look while it was being used after surgery.
At that point all my surgery sisters approved that their results was 100% better and that was the beginning of something amazing and changing history.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One thing that i had to unlearn was asking people and maybe the wrong people their opinion about how or what i should do in regards to my life, vision or goals. The backstory was when i was terminated from my job on dec 1st 2020 i asked friends what i should do even though God provided me with a vision on what i need to do, and they all didn’t believe in my vision or goals and i shouldn’t do it, however i should find another job and i heard them but i did not take their advice and did what i knew was best for me and continue to run my business that i started in my home.
By taking that leap of faith 3 years later i own my dream store and inspiring thousands of people to believe in themselves and take that leap of faith.

How did you build your audience on social media?
When i first created my Instagram page it started at 0 and i went live and told my story, i posted with intent, i went live and offered help in any way that i can based on my knowledge and experience, As of today i still do the same habits 69k followers later, i created reels teaching my audience, may it be about Post op care, business, clothing or health and wellness. When it comes to building your social media, people love authenticity and being relatable to your audience, always remember to post with intention and post something that will make someone stop scrolling to read or watch your content, also reply to everyone comments under your post and build a relationship with your audience.
Those followers becomes potential customers, which then becomes your customers which then becomes your referrers.
