Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Stephanie Graham. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Stephanie, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you walk us through some of the key steps that allowed you move beyond an idea and actually launch?
So much of the work I make starts from conversations. I dont shy away from talking to anyone about anything at any time. I am a naturally curious person, so whatever someone wants to tell me I am all ears to hear.
Stephanie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am Stephanie Graham, an artist and filmmaker based in Chicago. I make photos and films about relationships and subcultures. I exhibit this work anywhere I’m allowed and invited! I love art.
I also host a bi-weekly podcast called noseyAF about people! I talk to artists and activists and everyday people about what they are doing and why they are doing it. The podcast feels selfish because it helps my creative process by hearing from others about their lives, but I hope the viewer also takes something from it.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The community!!
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
You know what, actually its YouTube LOL I love watching documentaries on Art21 . Anytime I am curious about a resource or product something has generously made a video about it and there is always someone commenting on something that I keep in the background of my studio while working. Its YouTube!! Its always there for me LOL
