Stephanie, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
As consumers in the fashion industry, we often focus on the outfits we purchase online, without considering the environmental impact of the fashion companies we buy from. it was a big concern for me and that’s why, at Denvy we not only strive to create amazing clothing and designs, but also prioritize sustainability in all aspects of our business, including our packaging.
Our poly mailers are made from corn, which can decompose naturally in your backyard, and all paper materials, including clothing tags and invoices, are made from recycled paper. Additionally, the clear bags that your clothes are stored in are made from 100% recycled plastic.
We believe that it’s possible to create a fashion brand that prioritizes both style and sustainability. That’s why we offer 100% eco-friendly shopping options, without sacrificing on style.

Hi everyone, I’m Stephanie De Pena, the CEO and Founder of Denvy, a women’s clothing brand. Fashion and style have always been a passion of mine, and in 2020 I took that passion to TikTok and started creating content with my grandma, showcasing our shared love of fashion through our videos. After going viral, we were approached by several clothing brands to work with them, but I saw this as an opportunity to turn my dream into a reality and start my own brand.
Denvy was born with a mission to share my unique and trendy designs with others, while also providing 100% eco-friendly shopping. Fast forward almost three years and we’ve shipped thousands of orders around the world. It’s more than I could have ever imagined!
I’m always looking for new ways to express my personal style and inspire others to do the same. Through my clothing and personal style, I strive to make a statement and encourage others to embrace their own sense of fashion when they wear one of my pieces.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I started making fashion-focused videos with my grandma on TikTok, we always create content around new trends or challenges and add our own twist to it. It wasn’t long before our content started to gain traction, we were featured on all major news outlets, MTV, reposted by celebrities and so much more. Our videos showcasing our shared love for fashion resonated with viewers, and we quickly gained a loyal following of over 140,000 followers on the platform. As our audience grew, we started to get noticed by other clothing brands and eventually turned our passion for fashion into a business.
Through consistent posting and engaging with our followers, we were able to build a strong and dedicated community on social media.
To build a strong social media presence, my best advice is to be consistent, authentic, and engaging. Consistently posting relevant and interesting content will help to keep your followers engaged and interested in your brand. Being authentic and genuine in your online interactions and content will help to build trust and authenticity with your audience. And, actively engaging with your followers through comments, likes, and shares will help to foster a sense of community and create a stronger connection with your audience.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
One of the most effective strategy for growing clientele is utilizing all Social media platforms. Consistently produce high-quality, relevant content that resonates with our target audience. By consistently posting engaging and informative content, we have been able to attract and retain a loyal following on social media. Additionally, we have found success in utilizing paid social media advertising to reach a wider audience and drive targeted traffic to our pages. Lastly, actively engaging with our followers and responding to their comments and messages has helped to build trust and strengthen our relationship with our clients.
