We recently connected with Stephania Bonilla Salas and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Stephania thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
There have been many occasions where a client had a last minute cancellation. There was a sweet lady, single mother throwing her daughter her dream quince. We received a call begging for help since no one wanted to play for their event last minute. We were asked to play for a few hours and also play a video, but the previous Dj who cancelled had the video. We called the Dj and went to pick up the video, then rushed to get a screen show player. We arrived to the hall right before the event started and set up all of our equipment. At the end, the event was a success. Our customer was extremely happy, but we were thankful she trusted us and allowed us to resolve her issue, making her and her daughters special day unforgettable.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a DJ who came to the USA when I was a little girl. My father was a DJ in Mexico and I wanted to follow into his footsteps. My passion for music has allowed me to bring happiness to others and make their special events the best they’ve ever had. We provide music of all genres, and play for all sorts of events and cater to all dancing needs. We also provide an up to date Photo Booth, special effects and a spark machine that gives an extra spark to weddings. Our most popular effect is (Dancing on the clouds), this allows our couples to have their first dance on a cloud the way their love for each other makes them feel.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I first started on Myspace and Soundcloud, I started posting my mixes and videos, sharing with family and friends asking for their support. As we started getting gigs they started to recommend us to others friends and family.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Being friendly with all of our customers and being understanding with them. Never allowing any negativity actions get in the way and always being positive. Understanding that sometimes clients are under a lot of stress and can sometimes need a boost. I treat my clients like family from beginning and end.
