We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Stella a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Stella, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Alright, let’s jump into one of the most exciting parts of starting a new venture – how did you get your first client who was not a friend or family?
I have been active on social media since I have joined this company and keep posting my views on facebook, instagram, linkedin. People always liked my comments and that is how I have made connections and started sending DMs and start introducing our work to the new potentional customers and showed them what we do.
Finally one of potential customers got impressed and sent new orders.
I have got this achivement after a lot of hard work and dedication.

How’d you meet your business partner?
I have had a experience of customer service and support in the past so with all my past experience I had never faced any issue dealing with customers and I was very much user of social media personaly so I thought to use this practice for my profession. In my first meeting somewhere in a party with the manager talking about all these social media apps I have convinced him that people can get more business if they starts using some of these apps to promote your work.
For me that was one of those lucky moment when he got convienced and offered me to work for him.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Simply offering your services or in other words selling your product is not enough. Rather, the most important task is to support them after the services.
In my personal views support after services play a key role in increasing your clientele.
Always remember that if you manage to control the customer’s anger, he will not only never leave you but also refer you more customers.
