Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Steffany Rodriguez We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Steffany, thanks for joining us today. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
As a society the best things we can do to support artists is to not cut funding to creative programs. Having access to art classes, theatre, music, etc. is such an important way for people and especially children and young adults to have an outlet to relieve stress, build community or just to express themselves. Another great way to support creatives is to attend gallery shows, local concerts, plays, craft fairs, etc.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding part for me is always going to be the process of creating something and then actually see it come to form, especially if it’s a challenging piece or design. Sometimes I like to take my time on a painting or whatever it is I’m working on because it’s very relaxing and fun to just sit and work and not think about anything else. In the case where I am working with a team it’s also really rewarding to see everything we have all been working on come together at the end.
