Hi Start Planning, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
We’ve know each other for a few years and had been working on events/weddings for some time, got to learn from some amazing mentors and eventually decided to start our own company. We had the “know how” and we had to develop the contacts and network.
It took us some time to come up with the name and concept, but nothing says wedding like “Start Planning”
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We specialize in event organization, our focus over the years has been weddings but we are able to organize and have taken care of all type of events, from birthday parties, private dinners or even corporate events. Our clients seek us because we take care of every detail, from finding the perfect site to organizing logistic for all the guests, our work is 360.
Although we’ve seen a lot of success over the years, we take most pride in giving our clients peace of mind so all they have to do is enjoy the party!
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
We work with our clients from the moment they begin thinking of organizing an event, in many cases that mean over a year’s worth of work where we became one with the client. Our aim is to offer the best options for their events, in order to do that we get to know them very well.
Our most loyal customer keep coming back and continue to recommend us to their closes friends because we become part of their lives. We’ve organized weddings and later in the year helped them celebrate birthday for their children.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Both of us (Clara and Belen) worked in the events industry way before starting the company. We had already been working with several vendors and got to know the market very well. By the time we started our company we had a reputation as individuals, however, our goal was to build the companies reputation, and the only way to do that is with hard work and respect for the craft.
