We caught up with the brilliant and insightful STANLEY BOIS a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi STANLEY, thanks for joining us today. Going back to the beginning – how did you come up with the idea in the first place?

Hotinri was originally my brother Nelson Damoura’s Company, he passed away in his sleep, in the meantime, I was living in Florida, We spoke so much about the direction he wanted the company to go, I decided to pack my things and move back to Rhode Island to continue on his legacy.

STANLEY, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m self-taught in the world of Photography and Film I attended the University of Rhode Island for Broadcasting when I first started doing Photography it was mostly night clubs, and concerts, then it went to weddings, birthdays, and private events, I slowly incorporated video to my projects to become a one-stop shop for my clients, and others looking for both services, for years I studied screenwriting. I wrote a few plays, and in 2020 I turned one of those plays into a Movie, I directed and Edited myself, the movie is titled Pray For The Bear, and it’s up on Prime Video and Tubi. I’m also the cameraman for Demetrius Boo Boo Andrade we are currently working on his documentary, most of my work on him can be found on his youtube channel with the same name, I just filmed my 2nd feature titled Innocense Lost which will be out in 2024.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

when it comes to funding my business everything is self-funding, I take the money I make from photography and videos and then reinvest in the company, which has allowed me to have full control while pursuing bigger goals.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

yes there is my ultimate goal is to get a global release of Movies, I also have a magazine titled Hotinri Magazine covering people doing amazing things in New England, plus our Luxury Clothing line. I want to take all my projects global.
