At BLACK LAB CREATIVE, we don’t follow the industry standard — we create our own. It started with a authentic Reel and ended with my client receiving a full Bronx experience including tickets to a sold-out Yankees game during Fireworks Night. We handled every single piece — from concept and itinerary to creator content and brand alignment. Just storytelling, connection, and results.

Hi! I’m Staci Pearson — a multi-hyphenate creative, cultural curator, and the founder of BLACK LAB CREATIVE, a boutique agency at the intersection of community, culture, and campaigns.
I got into this work in the most organic way possible — by doing what I’ve always done: storytelling, building experiences, and making connections that mean something. What started as helping friends and small brands build their social media presence turned into something much bigger. Over time, I realized I had a gift — not just for marketing, but for making people feel seen, heard, and valued. That gift evolved into a service, and that service became a business.
At BLACK LAB CREATIVE, we manage influencer campaigns, build brand activations, curate cultural events, and create experiences that are rooted in real community — not just conversions. Whether it’s partnering with small businesses to bring families out for an unforgettable experience, or coordinating multi-layered content campaigns with national brands, we’re in the business of impact. Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I built my reputation by being someone people could count on and be inspired by. I’ve always led with integrity, creativity, and community, and that’s reflected in everything I do — from the way I communicate with clients to how I execute campaigns to how I advocate for creators behind the scenes.
I don’t just pitch ideas — I deliver results. I take the time to understand who I’m working with and what their deeper needs are — not just what looks good online. That level of care and strategy doesn’t go unnoticed.
I treat every brand, every creator, and every campaign like it matters — because it does. Whether it’s a local business trying influencer marketing for the first time or a creator hitting a major milestone, I show up with the same energy, passion, and professionalism.
And I think that’s what built the reputation — I care, I follow through, and I create experiences people remember.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
Absolutely. My biggest influences haven’t come from business books or viral TED Talks — they’ve come from my Bible, my faith, and my internal compass.
That foundation grounds everything I do. It reminds me that purpose comes before profit, that integrity is non-negotiable, and that if I lead with heart and consistency, the rest will follow.
Of course, I stay current and study the industry — but I’m not here to replicate what everyone else is doing. My entrepreneurial mindset is shaped by faith, real-life experience, and a deep understanding of people. That’s what guides my decisions, helps me navigate challenges, and fuels the way I manage, create, and serve.
