Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Stacey Lee. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Stacey , appreciate you joining us today. I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?
This is a complex question, with an in-depth answer. I’ll start by saying I love my work as an artist, creative, and influencer. I enjoy learning from all my creative talents, and continuing to expand my learning to be better, and drive more of my contents insights up. However, like any career it is a learning process, and has its ups & downs. But all in all, I am satisfied. This question is complex because I do also have my bachelors, and a stellar professional resume. I often find myself mixing my days up with my career, and my social networking. Do I wish I was 100% corporate? No, because with how I manage both currently I am able to be myself, mix business & pleasure, and leisurely plan my days while still having a point of focus being investing, profiting, saving, and expanding.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Yes, I am a first generation college graduate, and oldest of 5 children. I am from Detroit, MI, and everything about me screams D girl. I got into the fitness industry by changing my own habits, and making strides towards a healthier lifestyle. I was 232 lbs in 2014, and by 2016 had gotten down to 178. I am currently at a healthy weight of 153lbs but I have a goal of 145, and more muscle. It has been a long journey but worth every minute. I am currently a fitness trainer, yoga instructor, and stretch specialist. I have clients from different walks of life, and they all come to me for various reasons. When it comes to modeling I have been modeling for 8 years but started as a child doing fashion shows at my church, and headshots were always updated throughout my childhood to have them available. I enjoy modeling in many forms but my favorite right now would be my ability to creative director for myself, and others. I find myself most proud of my ability to keep pushing even when I feel like the underdog. Life is never going to be easy for you but always worth the fight to see what’s at the end of the battle. I know my hard work goes noticed, and I know that I give it my all, and that’s what has gotten me where I am. After 8 years I have done quite a lot, and I am extremely pleased with my success. I’ve been more into my acting bag lately, and that’s been a blessing to see, and watch unfold. Ready to see what is next for me.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is the growth you get to see in yourself over the years. Especially if you take it seriously, take classes, and invest in your craft to provide quality. I love seeing where I was, where I am at now, and manifesting the biggest blessings in my future.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
Anything by Napoleon Hill! He is an amazing author, and his brain works beautifully when it comes to business, and being a resilient individual in the world of chaos while still trying to maintain, grow, and level up. He mentions a lot about his own path, and is realistic in his tones. I’ve learned a lot, and appreciate every read of his that I’ve had the opportunity to finish. Think and Grow Rich is #1 for me at the moment.
