We were lucky to catch up with Stacey Franke recently and have shared our conversation below.

Stacey, appreciate you joining us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea

Before 2020 hit, I had a vision of owning my own photography business. With being a stay at home mama, I knew there had to be more to what I was supposed to be doing. Of course thoughts came to my mind like “There’s so many photographers, how will I be different from them?” Well, in August of 2020 I decided to step out in faith and purchase a camera. I told my husband what my vision was and he told me he was there to support me 100%. I’ve been very blessed, over the last 3 years it’s been all word of mouth referrals and my business has grown tremendously.

Stacey, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Stacey Franke I am 33 years old, I’m a mama of 3 beautiful kids and a wifey to an amazing husband. I’m a photographer that specializes mostly in outdoor photography, such as: family, maternity, lifestyle, holiday, graduation and weddings as well. I’m definitely a photographer that is less expensive than others, I want you to create that moment together and freeze frame time. I want my clients to look at their photos and remember the feeling they felt while being with their loved ones and creating those memories that truly last a lifetime.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I created a business account on Instagram and also on Facebook. I started posting my work every single day, at least one photo to grab their attention. It was truly a lot of word of mouth and that’s how I began to have the followers I have now. It also helps that my clients would share and tag me in their photos.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

It’s been a lot of word of mouth for me, I attend and awesome gym called F45 and the fam I have there has truly helped in growing my business. They share their photos and others share theirs. I also have a lot of family and friends that promote me on social media, I’m forever thankful for them!
