We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Stacey Bosworth. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Stacey below.
Stacey , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
I have been teaching movement and fitness for 23 years. I have taught many group classes, and years ago at a particular fitness place I taught, I started each class with a positive quote or phrase. It always felt inspiring to me, and after awhile, people began to remember me as the teacher who was always smiling and sharing positivity. I realized people appreciated the quotes, and many students would share with me how I inspired them. That experience led me to embrace my talents even more and further my pursuit of the healing arts. I wanted to offer clients more options to learn how to heal themselves and ultimately feel better in their body, mind, and spirit.

Stacey , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I was born and raised in Michigan and started dancing at a young age. I wanted to be a prima ballerina! I danced for about 15 years and then moved to Chicago where I also got into acting. I modeled, did commercials and theater and eventually moved to Los Angeles where I also learned and certified in Pilates, and Barre Fitness. I started to build my Pilates clientele while being a student of yoga . I really also loved yoga so much for how it made me feel on all levels, so I finally went for it and did my first 200 hr, yoga training 7 years ago!
I have since done my 300 hr training and am certified in Yin, Yoga Nidra, Yoga Sculpt, Restorative, Pregnancy and Trauma informed yoga as well. In the last several years I have expanded my learning and am certified in Meditation, Breath-Work, Nervous system regulation techniques, am a Reiki Master and a Sound Healer (Sound Baths).
I truly love helping people feel better in their bodies, minds and hearts. The fact that I offer many modalities sets me apart from others and that I am knowledgeable not only on the body but the energetics as well. I see such a need more than ever for healing in this world and I believe the tools I offer, can help.
I am currently working on a Somatic Healing certification, ( to help heal trauma stored in the body), and HeartMath Resilience Trauma Certification. I am also currently on staff at a drug and alcohol recovery center and a mental health center for teens. Teaching for 23 years now, I believe we all deserve a full, happy ,well lived life and I am doing my best to share that with the world. I will continue to share my unique perspective and gifts with clients to help each person feel their best and to become their own healer! I am proud to be of service to others and to be able to help people.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Word of mouth goes a long way in this business, so being caring, compassionate, and honest is a must to succeed and have longevity! I also believe you need to practice what you preach! You have to take care of yourself mentally and physically and work on your own self-growth. This is how success will find you.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I think being me, my true self, has helped build my reputation. Truly caring about a client’s journey and what they are going through. People can really tell the difference between someone who truly cares and someone who is just doing it for a paycheck. They want to feel heard, understood, and guided. I am naturally a “people person” and a great listener, so that quality can take you far.
