We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Stacey Allen a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Stacey thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
My mission starts with serving people with love and care. I was inspired by Grandmother, Evelyn Rose- born in 1932- hence my business name “Rose 32”. My Grandma had such a heart for people and loved nothing more than to serve others…whether it was a snack at her kitchen table or a carefully prepared meal that took her all day to prepare…she found joy in extending hospitality and she was so graceful and a natural in doing so.
My dream for my business started in 2021 with the vision to serve people good coffee and great tasting drinks that were healthier! Since I was 15 years old, I’ve worked in the restaurant/bar industry-from pizza shops in Shorewood, Illinois to fine dining/upscale bars in Fort Worth, Texas. I love connecting, getting to know people, and hearing their stories! It is a part of who I am- a people lover. Within the last few years I’ve noticed that the guests I was serving were drinking less alcohol and asking for mocktails. Since I myself have never been someone who consumed a lot of alcohol, I began to get excited about this shift in the industry! I developed this dream to own a mocktail bar…BUT I also love craft coffee so I thought…how fun would it be to do both!? I learned craft coffee from my 2 favorite local coffee shops, Kindred Coffee in North Richland Hills, TX. and Sons Coffee in Fort Worth, TX. We use Sons Coffee as our coffee roaster so we can ensure that we are offering freshly roasted coffee in every cup!
Health and wellness is also an important aspect of my business. I have incorporated healthier options for drinking by using only premium ingredients such as organic syrups, organic juices, non-dairy products, fresh herbs/fruits, and even supplements like Lions Mane and Ashwaghanga drops for stress-relief. I am passionate about proving that you can “drink well & live well”.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We have a few different ways of serving our clients. We have a regular mobile location in North Fort Worth (location can be found on our Instagram page-@rose32coffeebar), we also do pop-ups/collaborations with local small businesses, and private events where drinks are unlimited to guests.
We specialize in crafting healthier drink options from organic syrups and plant-based milks in our craft coffee drinks to fresh juices, fruits, herbs, and even supplements in our mocktails. Our mission is to provide drinks that make you feel good…no hangover the next day! We believe that drinking well should be a new movement.
Types of events that we LOVE to be a part of are: weddings, surprise birthday parties, corporate parties, New Year’s Eve celebrations, baby showers, bridal showers, sober-celebration/anniversaries, grand-openings, etc.
Amongst all that we do, our MOST important value is to show love to others. We craft our beverages with love and we want our clientele to know that we truly care about what and how we are serving them!

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
I have had the most success with showing up to networking events and sharing my passion for serving good drinks to others. I think when you are truly genuine in making connections while also supporting other small businesses you are bound to succeed and find a community that wants to support you!
I am grateful thus far for all the connections I’ve made and the relationships I’ve built…I cannot wait for what the future holds as I know it’s only going to get better from here!

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
I love this question because I am still on the journey to work for myself 100% of the time. I work a part-time job currently and it can be very challenging at times to work non-stop in my business while having to clock-in a few days a week also.
I started my business with a pretty low budget and somehow was able to put together the money I needed to buy my coffee equipment-which many of you probably know- is not cheap!
I started my business in 2022 with a cart built by my friend Elliott (who loved to do woodwork), an espresso machine hand-made in Italy, a commercial grinder, and a few other basic materials. Since then, I have collected an office FULL of product, an amazing following of fans on social media (some who attempt to come to every one of my pop-ups), and I just launched my coffee and mocktail trailer where I will have the ability to serve at all types of events!
I am so close to working full-time in my business and although I thought it would happen sooner, I will not give-up! When I work in my business I don’t feel like it’s work so I know I was created to do this.
My advice to others is follow your dreams until they become reality!
