Spirit , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
The most meaningful project that I have ever worked on is the SELF MASTERY Album, which I am currently working on at the present moment.
I came up with the concept to name my first album, Self Mastery, based off a series of unexplained events and supernatural experiences that occurred in my life a few years ago.
My definition of SELF MASTERY is the realization and appreciation of one’s true Self: The highest version that one can conceive of oneself that is in union with God, The Universe. This awareness allows one to have an obstinate control over their own thoughts, emotions, and actions.
As a creative Being who is constantly evolving, I feel that the choices I make (whether consciously or unconsciously), is a direct result of my soul’s yearning to manifest the aspect of ItSelf that resonates with ultimate fulfillment, with the ability to control non-physical aspects of the Self… thus greatly influencing my environment and the world around me.
SELF MASTERY is a collection of artistic expressions in the form of poetic writings, visual artworks, and musical tracks.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Spirit Butterfly, known to many as “Spirit,” is a Natural Hair-Care Specialist/Stylist, Entreprenuer, Product Developer, Writer, Musician, Actress, and Dancer!
Dropping out of Clark Atlanta University after her sophomore year, Spirit Butterfly went on to grace the cover and pages of countless magazines, appeared in numerous high-budget music videos and movies, and worked as a model and hairstylist within the fashion and entertainment industries by the time she was 21!
In 2019, Spirit Butterfly emerged FARASHA KAA as her official company (business) of products and services; no longer the sole name of her massively successful hair/skin oil she formulated in 2011.
FARASHA KAA now consists of a high-quality apparel line (Farasha Kaa Apparel), au-naturale and DIGESTIBLE hair/skin products , Chlorophyll and Detox juices, crystals, and spiritually rejuvenating bath salts for ultimate, excellent health!
As the Founder, CEO, and Creative Director of FARASHA KAA (which literally translates as “Butterfly Spirit,” or “Spirit Butterfly”), Spirit Butterfly is the ONLY product developer that formulates DIGESTIBLE products to enhance the natural physical qualities, yet treat the mal-conditions of the human body.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The MOST Rewarding aspect of being an artist is the complete freedom of SELF-expression and personal fulfillment. Realizing that I have to power and ability to live my dreams through my creative endeavors IS rewarding. Furthermore, this sense of gratitude allows me to appreciate peer adoration and customer appreciation through my artistic expressions.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
The consciousness of highly creative Beings differs from the consciousness of non-creative individuals.
Creative beings live in the mental realms of infinite possibilities and abstract realities. Our broadcasting system is in tuned with the rhythm of the universe, and our hearts are as precious gold nuggets deep down in a mining field; energetically-sensitive and complexed creatures that lives through the eyes of its own SOUL…
We do not operate on the notion of “If,” therefore, “When” is a more ideal approach to our language’s vocabulary’. The phrase “Believe In Yourself” is not an option, rather than an act of confidently adapting to an unpredictable way of life.
When non-creatives realize that “Plan B” in Life’s “Backup Plan” translates as “Revise Plan A” to Artists, they will no longer feel the self-tormented frustration of talking to a brick wall.
