We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Spencer Galbreath. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Spencer below.
Hi Spencer, thanks for joining us today. What’s the best or worst investment you’ve made?
being a business minded savvy person you always tend to look at opportunities on the forefront to invest in instead of waiting until it’s to late down the line so with that being said, I had opportunity to invest into a cannabis dispensary prior to the legalization here in california , to make it happen in a prominent area of Los Angeles. So to make a long story short, we invested, we’re all excited have some skin in the cannabis industry business. Got the location signed the lease. Did the build out open only open to sell CBD products because we didn’t have our license to sell THC products did that then all of a sudden boom our attorney calls and says the process gonna take a little bit longer we’re gonna need to do XY&Z and then that’s when things took a turn for the worse. To be transparent, it was myself and two other partners end up having a falling out with one of the partners, and now there’s dead money invested into this location on top of the city, taking a long time to execute licensing’s for businesses.. fast forward continue to sell CBD products but it just wasn’t making enough income to justify the investment looking back on the opportunity I look I personally think we are a little bit too late to get into that market knowing what I know now I would’ve never invested in to a dispensary. I would’ve taken that money and put in something else. The whole moral of the story is follow your gut take risk and don’t be afraid to jump in the deep end because you never know how it may turn out.

Spencer, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Being able to deliver results and always deliver everything, I say, I’m never going to overpromise and under deliver I’m just simply here to work hard and bring results for clients and myself. At the end of the day all we have is our word.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I started to build my audience on social media, by showcasing a behind-the-scenes lifestyle of a marketing entrepreneur executive. The day-to-day that goes into it, the highs and the lows are when building a brand authenticity is key, so I understood early on when building I have to build my self my presence, my audience, and then that would flow over into my businesses and the clients and companies that I work with. For those that are starting to build a social media presence I would say stay consistent with your messaging and stay on top of your Contant and definitely make sure that it’s something other can relate to.
