Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sophia Giraldo. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Sophia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
Looking back, the initial idea of being a “Confidence Cultivator” stemmed from my own experience with Betrayal and Abuse.
About 7 months after my oldest son was born, I had an experience that really gutted my confidence and affected how I saw myself when I looked in the mirror.
I had gotten up early one morning–the house was quiet so I decided to get some work done. As I opened my laptop computer, I saw that someone had left a youtube tab open, and in the search bar were words like, “world’s hottest woman”.
For a split second, I was confused–then emotions of dread rushed in when I realized that it was my husband who had been using the computer.
I had unknowingly married someone with a Sex Addiction.
I decided enough was enough, and started my own personal recovery journey. As time went on, I learned how to say no, how to set boundaries, and communicate the expectations of my marriage.
Of course I got push back. The control and abuse rose more to the surface. At first it was covert, but progressively became more out in the open. The lies, gaslighting, financial abuse…. I was a Stay at Home Mom, and by this time had 3 young kids which made everything worse.
Eventually the abuse culminated into physical/sexual incidents, and that was my line. I was at full capacity mentally, my emotions were dangling, and my body was breaking down. I developed an autoimmune issue that I’m sure was brought on by the stress…food allergies…I had to change so many things.
I eventually decided to move into a DV Shelter with my boys to separate myself from the constant Trauma, and after over 10 months of living there (during the onset of Covid) we were finally able to move into our own apartment.
It was out of that experience and the lessons that I learned during that time that I developed my B.E.A.U.T.Y. Redefined Method, and now encourage Women to walk in Confidence as a Lifestyle.

Sophia , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My consulting around Confidence is directly related to my personal experiences.
My mission is Faith-Based, and here is what I KNOW:
You are a Masterpiece! No person & no situation has the power or authority to give (or take away) your Value–your Beauty, except the One Who created you—and He already has DECLARED what is True. So now you have the FREEDOM to walk in that truth.
That’s the message I shout today!
Beauty after Brokenness IS possible.
There is a Framework I use to Redefine what this looks like:
BELIEVE what God has Spoken
EXCHANGE lies for the Truth
ACCEPT your Limitations
Realize your UNIQUENESS is a Gift
TRUST that your Pain has Purpose
Say YES to the Best
Women impacted by Betrayal and Abuse can live Confidently when they become rooted and grounded in the FACT that they are WHO they are because of WHOSE they are.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
One of the most important strategies I’ve learned to date is that people CONNECT with those that are willing to be vulnerable and authentic.
It’s so easy in this day and age to want to present the ‘highlights” of life. How we have made it to where we are…that mountain top place.
The reality is, if we share that “success” story without the valley moments that got us there, people will feel (in their heads and hearts) that were are not relatable, and that we are unable to help them with the pain that they are facing.
So share that story, be real–take people WITH you on the journey.

If you have multiple revenue streams in your business, would you mind opening up about what those streams are and how they fit together?
I have a variety of income streams…they say the average millionaire has 7 right? Goals! LoL
My overall Umbrella is working with women impacted by betrayal and abuse to walk in Confidence as a Lifestyle.
I do this by helping them with their Beauty Needs around Skin Care and Makeup. I also partner with a Clothing Brand as an affiliate for a Boutique.
I really believe when we LOOK GOOD on the outside it helps us FEEL good on the inside!
Outside of that, I help Small Business Owners and Entrepreneurs with “Tech” related issues. Building websites, landing pages, email service provider set up, etc. “Sexy Tech” I like to call it, LoL!
