We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Snow Princess a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Snow , appreciate you joining us today. One of the toughest things about progressing in your creative career is that there are almost always unexpected problems that come up – problems that you often can’t read about in advance, can’t prepare for, etc. Have you had such and experience and if so, can you tell us the story of one of those unexpected problems you’ve encountered?
There was a moment early in my journey that shook me. I had just finished a brunch performance—choreographed down to every beat, wink, and move—when the organizer pulled me aside, and bluntly said: “You just stuck to one spot, You should’ve worked the crowd.”
I tried to explain: I’m a stage performer. My art is deliberate. My movements are precise for a reason—they’re part of a carefully built visual narrative. To me, dance isn’t about chasing attention. It’s about earning it. But she wasn’t interested in understanding. “You have to adapt to the event,” she insisted. That moment stayed with me—not because of the criticism, but because of what it taught me: I don’t have to adapt to every room. I choose the rooms that value what I bring. I don’t want to chase attention—I invite it.
I’m proud I didn’t fit into someone else’s mold. Instead, I chose to refine my own. That decision is why Snow Princess isn’t just another act in the crowd—she’s a standout.
Snow , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am Snow Princess, a performer, artist and curator of joy through the transformative art of female impersonation. My journey didn’t begin in a theatrical school, but from deep admiration for femininity, glamour, and human connection. What began as curious exploration behind closed doors gradually blossomed into a radiant persona—an elegant, confident, and empowered Queen.
I offer two distinct yet equally magical performance styles. One electrifies the room with Britney Spears, HyuNA and other pop impersonations. The other enchants younger audiences through Snow White, Elsa and other Disney princess portrayals. From Pride stages and Pageant walks to mainstream events and private parties, I’ve created moments where fantasy meets empowerment. Every wing I wear and heel I step into is crafted with purpose—to uplift, celebrate, and spread joy across generations.
I choose venues where drag is celebrated and artistry is respected. I’ve been interviewed on The Colorado Dream Podcast, performed on Denver Pride Center Stage, and featured in multiple fashion magazines, but what matters most are the fans—the wide-eyed children backstage, the woman who saw her reflection in my transformation, or the loyal fans who backed me for years.
Snow Princess isn’t just a performer—she’s a living tribute to courage, grace, and transformation. And as I prepare to take Snow global, I carry every child’s smile and every fan’s cheer.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
Snow’s social journey began in the most unexpected of places—random video chats on platforms like Chatroulette and Bigo Live. I stepped into hundreds of spontaneous conversations dressed in character, using Snap Camera’s virtual makeup to bring my feminine side to life. At first, it was about experimenting—seeing what was possible. But over time, it became a calling.
As my confidence grew, I traded filters for foundation, began blending reality with imagination, and eventually challenged myself to match the digitally-enhanced looks in real life. I moved from virtual effects to real makeup, layering it with Bigo’s beautify filters. Every contour, every glow, every illusion—I practiced until I could recreate it with my own hands. That’s when the artistry truly began.
What many might dismiss as frivolous digital play was my first stage – a gateway into an authentic, powerful, and deeply fulfilling performance life.. Before the applause, before the costumes, before the crowds—there was just a webcam, a dream, and the courage to go live. Artistry begins long before the spotlight hits you. That virtual mirror was where I first saw her—and I haven’t looked back since.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
One of the most transformative moments in my journey happened during a spontaneous video chat on Chatroulette. I was fully dressed in character—feminine, radiant, alive—when I shared a link to a short film I’d acted in, entirely in my male persona. As the film played, she started looking around the screen, puzzled. “Where are you?” she asked. I told her, “That’s me in the very first scene.” She stared in disbelief before finally saying, “Wait… that’s you?!” After a pause, she smiled and said something I’ll never forget: “You don’t need anyone else in a film. You can be the whole cast: both the male and female lead.”
That wasn’t just a compliment—it was a revelation. A prophecy I am now determined to fulfil. It planted the seed for what’s now becoming my next chapter: storytelling through multiple personas. Moving forward, I want to blend both my male and female identities into my performances—not as opposing roles, but as evolving characters within a shared narrative. Each telling a piece of the story.
I envision theatrical experiences where every facet of me—masculine and feminine, fierce and grace—steps into the light. Each persona is a dancer, a narrator, a mirror – interacting, conflicting and harmonizing. I want the audience to witness a full-fledged story told from every corner of my being. Because art, at its best, is not about becoming someone else – it’s about expressing all your selves.
